What I collect, and what I do with it.
This is a one-person business run in the evenings. Here's everything I collect and what happens to it.
What I collect
- Your email address, and your first name if you give it. That's the whole signup form. The name is optional.
- What you enter when you book a call, if I send you a booking link. Your name, your email, and whatever you tell me about your business.
- Whatever you write to me in a reply or an email. I read those. I answer them myself, usually in the evening.
If you hire me
Paid work means you send me more: exports, photos, reports your register or booking app emails me on a schedule, or a view-only login you create and can switch off any time. I never hold your password. Recurring work is done on my own tools; every page or report I send you is yours, and your data stays yours. I use what you send only to do the work you hired me for, some of it is processed with an AI assistant to build or read your pages, and I keep it only as long as the work needs it; if you stop, say the word and I delete my copies and confirm. Payments go through a payment provider, which handles your card details, not me. Some of the work shows up in my videos, generalized so nothing identifies you. All of this is written plainly into every agreement, and the agreement is what governs if it and this page ever disagree.
What I use it for
I send you the guide, then roughly one email a week with a system you can steal. If you booked a call, I use what you told me to prepare for it. If I have something to offer you, I'll say so in an email, and you can ignore it.
Who else handles it
I don't run my own mail server or calendar, so a few companies handle pieces of this. Each has its own privacy policy, and those are the real source on what they do:
- Kit stores the email list and sends the emails.
- Calendly handles call bookings, if I send you a booking link.
- Netlify hosts this site and sees the ordinary server logs any web host sees.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces on this page, which means your browser fetches them from Google and Google sees your IP address along the way.
How this site works today
As of the date at the bottom of this page: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or retargeting pixels. There are no tracking scripts anywhere on it.
That may not stay true forever. If this grows, I may add analytics to see which posts are worth writing, or advertising tools to reach people who'd find this useful. If I do, I'll update this section and say so here.
Two things that won't change
I won't sell, rent, or trade your information. Your email is on my list because you asked to be here, and that's the only reason it's there.
Unsubscribing is one click. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It works, and it's one click. If you'd rather be deleted outright than just unsubscribed, email me and say so. I'll do it and confirm when it's done, and you don't have to give a reason.
If this page changes
I'll update it and change the date at the bottom. If it's a real change rather than a wording fix, the list hears about it in an email.
